When you hear people say that you learn something new everyday, they're not lying. Over the past few months I have learned so much such as setting up and hosting a weekly podcast which is something I thought I would never do even in my wildest dreams, I learned to design my own book covers and marketing materials using the GIMP program and so much more. I've now set myself a new challenge to master Adobe Illustrator which is quite a complex program but the amount of features it has really makes it worth the effort and besides there are plenty of tutorials available on Youtube if I need a little help along the way.
So it's true for the old saying any thing your mind can conceive you can achieve and so far those achievements have been plentiful and hopefully I will be adding to that list very soon. Of course it can't be all work and learning every day I still get my exercise as often as I can because you need to keep your body active as well as your mind and with the work load I have coming up I'm going to need to be as mentally focused and prepared for the onslaught as I can because the time has come to go back to the old way of writing because this procrastination is a real pain, so I plan to take the bull by the horns and just go for it like I used to do with up to 8 hours of nothing but typing and believe you me I had my first book written in under 9 weeks and now I plan to do it that way again and shift that lazy bastard called procrastination out my of god damn way and get working at finishing the three books I have already started but try to focus on one at a time, because there are so many ideas going through my mind at the same time about the different books that it is very hard to give my undivided attention to just one, but that is going to change and by mid May there will be a new book available on Amazon. So it shall be written so it shall be done.
