Although I am an Atheist, there are a lot of Religious references in the last book of the Awesome Four series. This final book deals with the notion of Armageddon and Satan rising to destroy the world, along with Saint Michael and the other Angels who are there to fight against the mighty armies of Hell, and side by side with the Awesome Four they will take the fight to Satan and fight to the death. Along with that, the heroes discover that there are in fact seven gateways to Hell scattered...

To everyone on Goodreads, I am so sorry for the huge mess I have created with my listed titles. I never realized that Goodreads keep the old versions of the book live on their site even though they are now obsolete. I recently uploaded revised and edited versions of all my works and they are lost in a sea of old versions. The above covers are the revised and edited editions to look out for in the future and once again I am very sorry about this but I really had no idea that Goodreads keep all...

I have read tons of books about marketing, book promotion, advertising and Social media. Each and every one of those books tell that to be a successful Author you need to have profiles on all Social media platforms and build a following. It all sounds so easy on paper, get a Twitter profile, Facebook profile, Linkdin profile, Google+, Tumblr and even youtube. Well that's all fine and well I understand that you have to build a following, but as an unknown Author it's next to impossible, and all...

To say that it has been a strange week is putting it mildly to say the least. A few weeks ago I wrote a post called Creative lull in which I stated that I was suffering from writers block and getting frustrated with my work in progress, well something must've shifted my mindset because shortly after that post it was like a Dam had broken and all the ideas and story lines that were locked behind it came pouring out in flash flood of inspiration. Where once my characters voices were silent and I...

Being a writer can be strange at times. There will be times you absolutely love it and times you will despise it and it becomes a cliche love hate profession, you love to see the finished book but hate writing the damn thing. This has happened to me on numerous occasions to the point I just want to catch the lap top and smash it against the wall out of sheer frustration and say "That's it I'm done with writing, to hell with it," but something keeps bringing me back to my keyboard time and time...

My books are written for the new adult generation, and for those who don't know what new adult fiction is it's basically a step up from young adult fiction which is written fro people from age 12-18, so new adult fiction caters to those 18-30. When people see the word Author after your name I think it makes them a bit nervous about reaching out to say hello. Well, at the end of the day I'm a human being just the same as you, I live and breathe just the same as everyone else. The only difference...

I have been busy during the week re-designing all my book covers, and I realized that I had been doing it wrong all along. I had been struggling with cover design for a while and the amount of tutorials that are available on the subject is mind blowing, with every one trying to convince you that their way is the best way. That might be true for them, but for the rest of us, it just takes something that should be relatively simple and complicates it to the point that one tutorial ran into over...

When you hear people say that you learn something new everyday, they're not lying. Over the past few months I have learned so much such as setting up and hosting a weekly podcast which is something I thought I would never do even in my wildest dreams, I learned to design my own book covers and marketing materials using the GIMP program and so much more. I've now set myself a new challenge to master Adobe Illustrator which is quite a complex program but the amount of features it has really makes...

When I decided to become a writer, I had no idea of the difficulties that lay ahead. I have over come most of them and learned a lot of new skills along the way like cover design, typesetting, editing and so on but the one thing I haven't the hang of is the marketing aspect and for one simple reason. Marketing is just plain boring and even reading a book on the subject makes me want to vomit. I know it is a very important aspect of being and indie author but when the subject matter is so...

It's been a busy few weeks for me lately. I am up the walls between writing, exercising, martial arts training and social media I haven't had time to blink. I'm not complaining however as I enjoy keeping myself busy and active, but I will have to pace myself more before I burn myself out, so I am going to have create a time table, something I have not done in years but I have to reign myself in and allocate time blocks to my hobbies and interests. Although I am having fun getting back in shape...
